Are you a natural salesperson who enjoys helping customers make the right choice rather than simply pushing for a sale?

Frontline Human Resources (FHR) is partnering with a highly regarded family business with more than 75 years of history to find an experienced Showroom Sales Consultant for its premium Blackburn showroom.

This is an opportunity to work with an impressive range of home heating, cooking and lifestyle products while building relationships with homeowners, architects, designers and builders.

You'll help customers choose from premium fireplaces, wood and gas heaters, electric and ethanol fires, designer cookers, pizza ovens and barbeques.

This isn't about high-pressure sales.

It's about listening to customers, understanding what they're trying to achieve and providing knowledgeable advice to help them find the right solution for their home.

The Role

Working as part of a small and experienced showroom team, you'll manage customer enquiries from the initial conversation through to sale and after-sales service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming customers and delivering a high-quality showroom experience
• Understanding customer needs and recommending suitable heating and cooking solutions
• Managing enquiries from initial consultation through to sale
• Building strong, genuine relationships with customers
• Developing ongoing relationships with architects, designers, builders and other industry professionals
• Preparing sales documentation and invoices
• Maintaining accurate customer information through CRM systems
• Providing a high standard of after-sales service
• Professionally representing the showroom and its premium product range

About You

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys dealing with people, takes pride in providing great service and wants to become part of an established business for the long term.

You'll ideally bring:

• Previous sales and customer service experience
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A genuine interest in home interiors, design, architecture or lifestyle products
• Professional presentation and a customer-focused approach
• Confidence asking questions, understanding customer needs and recommending solutions
• Good attention to detail
• Confidence using computer systems, including CRM and invoicing platforms
• Reliability, enthusiasm and the ability to work effectively within a small team
• Availability to work Saturdays

Experience in home improvement, interiors, furniture, appliances, kitchens, building products or a similar showroom environment would be highly regarded, but isn't essential for the right person.
