Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Service Advisor to join their business. This role will suit a dedicated individual who is self-motivated and well-presented who enjoys working in a highly skilled, friendly professional team.

What you will be doing

Working full time Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm you will be the first point of contact for their customers, ensuring you are delivering and exceptional high level of customer service through accurate interpretation and prompt resolution for all repairs and maintenance with your professional and friendly personality.

Your main responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in person or by phone to determine the customer's needs and vehicle data
  • Document customer needs accurately via repair orders and define the scope and type of work required
  • Present service offers to customers, and offer additional services, benefits and/or parts at every opportunity
  • Book appointments according to customer needs and workshop utilisation capacity
  • Liaise with service technicians & follow up on customer vehicles during the course of the repair
  • Quote, clarify method of payment and communicate to our customers any additional repairs where required
  • Prepare and invoice customer jobs in an accurate and timely manner
  • Handle and process warranty/contract maintenance claims
  • Ensure customer service matters are dealt with promptly and efficiently
  • Practice and promote company WHS policies and processes at all times
  • Work Saturdays on a roster

You will need to have

  • Year 12 or equivalent
  • Trade qualification or demonstrated industry experience preferred
  • Sound administrative & clerical skills and organisational skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, to work autonomously and as a team
  • Drivers Licence
  • Full working rights in Australia
