What's Training2Tradie?

Training2Tradie is a practical, purpose-built program designed to support apprentices as they transition into fully qualified tradespeople.

It includes a supplementary capstone course focused on building the real-world skills and professional readiness needed to succeed post-apprenticeship — covering everything from job preparation to workplace expectations.

If you’re nearing the end of your apprenticeship or want to boost your confidence in the job market, Training2Tradie is the perfect next step.

How it Works

Sessions are delivered in person at FHR’s Blackburn office, with an online option available for interstate participants.

Apprentices can expect a focused, practical learning environment designed to build confidence, reinforce core skills, and prepare apprentices to step into fully qualified roles.

Training2Tradie is available to FHR 4th-year apprentices, and may be available to the public in the future.

The program runs on a rolling three-month cycle and covers:

Real-World Job Readiness

Resume Writing & Career Planning

Networking & Employment Opportunities

Extra Support & Guidance

Participants who attend all 3 modules will receive a certificate of completion.
