Experienced Disability Support Worker

The Role:
Seeking experienced, compassionate and reliable support workers to partner with our participant based in Clayfield. High complex care experience required, with onsite training also provided. Reliability and flexibility required.

Roster 24/7 2:1, successful candidates are required to work across a variety of shift times.

Rates:

• Day - $41.45
• Afternoon - $45.60
• Night rate - $46.42
• Saturday - $58.03
• Sunday - $74.61

Duties:

• Experience with ventilator and tracheostomy care highly regarded
• Oral suctioning
• Bowel management
• Catheter management
• PEG feeding
• Assistance with personal care
• Assistance with domestic tasks
• Manual handling such as transfers
• Administering medication

Skills and Experience:

• Australian Driver Licence
• Cert 3 Individual support or equivelant
• Current National Police Clearance within 12 months
• Valid CPR certificate
• Valid First Aid certificate
• Current Yellow Card
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• NDIS Support Effective Communication Module
