Disability Support Worker

We are currently seeking experienced support workers for a 60-year-old participant based in Laidley, QLD, who has a back injury. We are looking for support workers to cover additional shifts that have been allocated to our client to help assist the current support team in providing the best care possible.

Roster:

Monday - Sunday, 7am - 9am and 6pm - 8pm

Duties

• Personal care and hygiene
• Assistance with complex bowel care
• Domestic assistance
• Meal preparation
• Medication management
• Manual handling and hoisting - use of sling hoist and transfers

Skills & Experience

• Australian Driver's License
• Certificate 3 in Individual Support minimum requirement
• Current National Police Clearance within 12 months
• Current Blue Card
• Current Yellow Card
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• NDIS Support effective communication module
