3rd Year Refrigeration Apprentice

Frontline Human Resources are currently seeking an out of trade 3rd year Refrigeration apprentices to start or continue their Apprenticeship! All roles are based across Adelaide.

You will work with a vast number of Host Employers gaining a wide range of Refrigeration experience, providing you with the best opportunity to get the most out of your Apprenticeship! You will work full time whilst completing a 'Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration'.

Duties

• Select components, assemble, install, test, fault-find, service and repair industrial, commercial and domestic refrigeration and air conditioning systems

• Install and connect piping to refrigeration systems
• Drill holes, install mounting brackets and cut, bend and join piping
• Test refrigeration and air handling units and make adjustments to ensure they work correctly
• Install parts such as compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, air filters, switches and gauges
• test systems for leaks and then fill them with refrigerant according to relevant standards and regulation

Skills & Experience

• Commenced the 3rd Year of a Refrigeration Apprenticeship
• Safety conscious
• Positive attitude towards work, displaying initiative
• A strong interest in learning new skills
• Valid Driver's license
• Relevant industry experience is desirable
