Assembler
The Role
FHR currently have multiple opportunities for Assemblers in the manufacturing industry for our client who specializes in manufacturing and assembly of garage doors and roller shutters
Benefits:
- Multiple afternoon shift opportunities
- Monday to Thursday 2:30pm-11pm, Friday 12pm-6pm
- $37.02 per hour
- Some overtime is available at the weekends
- Full on the job training provided
- A permanent position after probation is available for the right candidate
Key Responsibilities
- Operate various hand and power tools to manufacture and assemble garage doors
- Working on an assembly line as part of the production process
- Operate a range of production machines such as labelers, packaging machines and assisted lift devices
- Locate and pick parts to assemble products
- Load and unload vehicles and trucks (manually and/or with Forklift, if ticketed)
- General cleaning and maintenance of your work areas
- Other basic factory-based duties as required
Skills & Experience
- Basic hand and power tool experience (advantageous)
- Physically fit for some heavy lifting
- Experience in a factory or manufacturing environment would be ideal
- Have basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Your own reliable transport to get to and from work
