What's on offer?   

• Excellent hourly rate of $52+ per hour
• Day Shift - Monday to Friday 6:30am to 3:27pm
• 9 days per fortnight
• Immediate start
• Dandenong location
• Casual on-going work
• Opportunity to work in a modern site with high technology machinery

   Your daily duties will consist of:   

• Constructing framework sections in metal and other materials using shaping machines and cutting and welding equipment
• Bolting, screwing, riveting and welding sections together to form complete frameworks
• Cutting and shaping panels of sheet metal, aluminium and reinforced plastic and attaching to frameworks using hand and power tools
• Modifying assembly line vehicles to special requirements
• Preparing new vehicle trim work according to drawings and sketches, and removing old coverings and fittings from vehicles and taking new measurements
• Selecting and cutting pieces of fabric, vinyl and leather and sewing pieces together using heavy-duty sewing machines
• Installing internal trim in vehicles such as lining, floor coverings and armrests
• Attaching door trims, rubber seals, locks and handles
• Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements
• Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines

To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate the following:   

• MUST have 2+ years TIG and MIG Experience
• Previous exposure and experience in a vehicle manufacturing environment will be highly regarded
• Ability to undergo a full medical assessment prior to commencement   
• Punctual, reliable, and good work ethic
• Great attention to detail
