Cafe Manager

The Opportunity:  

 Frontline are currently seeking and experienced and capable Cafe Manager to join our client's team on a fulltime basis in Melbourne, Docklands

About the role:

  • Fulltime Hours - working over a 7 day roster
  • Salary Based role - $67k - plus super
  • Day hours Monday - Friday 7.30am to 3.30pm, Saturday - Sunday 10am to 4pm

Duties:

  • This role is a hands on role where you will be required to manage the cafe during the quiet times by working by yourself where required, you will be required to make coffees and prepare meals for customers and is a role you will lead by example
  • Responsible for staff supervision
  • Delivering customer service internal and external at a high standard
  • Hands on preparation of meals and beverages for customers
  • Maintain a positive customer service environment to ensure customers are always welcomed and treated professionally and respectively

To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate the following:   

  • To care passionately about your work
  • You have experience in managing and or supervising a cafe
  • Strong knowledge of OHS compliance across the industry.
  • Ability to train staff and delegate tasks
  • Strong Administration skills
  • Great communication and people management skills
  • Understanding of budgets and finance

Qualification requirements:

  • Hospitality Industry Qualifications
  • Barista Certificates
  • Allergens Certificates
  • Responsible service of Alcohol certificates
  • Food Safety Certificates
