The Role:
UHC are seeking a Disability Support Worker to support a male based in Annerley, QLD. The Participant sustained a spinal cord injury which is the result of a motor vehicle accident.

The participant is reliant on a wheelchair for mobility, a hoist for transfers, and a shower commode for his personal care routine. Support is required Monday to Sunday in the morning (07:00-09:00) and the evening (19:00-21:00).

He requires a care team prior to his discharge.

Successful candidates must have experience with the manual handling and bowel therapy requirements, and able to start immediately.

Rate of Pay:

• Day - $45.00 per hour
• Afternoon - $49.50 per hour
• Night - $50.40 per hour
• Saturday - $63.00 per hour
• Sunday - $81.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Personal care and hygiene
• Manual handling: transfer, reposition and hoist
• Bowel therapy: stoma management
• Catheter care management
