The Role: We are seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to assist a male participant in Coal Creek, QLD 4312, who sustained a traumatic brain injury from a motorcycle accident. The position is available immediately, with assistance required every Wednesday and Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Our participant has a keen interest in politics, a creative personality, and holds a Master of Fine Arts (Sculpture).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Plan, transport, and accompany the participant to community access, health, and rehabilitation appointments
- Assist with personal care and hygiene
- Provide domestic assistance
- Prepare meals
Compensation:
- Day Shift: $55.00 per hour
- Travel Allowance: $0.99 per km (for medical-related travel)

Skills & Experience Required:
- Valid Australian Driver's License
- Certificate III in Individual Support
- Current Police Clearance
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification
- Current Blue Card
- Current NDIS Worker Screening
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Completion of NDIS Support Effective Communication Module
- Third Party Compulsory Insurance
- Reliable, proactive, and positive attitude
