The Role:

Our particpant is a male who has a Spinal Cord Injury who requires support Monday to Sunday from 9am - 4pm and 7pm to midnight. This role is on a casual on-going basis and commencing immediately.

Rates

• Day - $43.75 per hour
• Afternoon rate - $48.12 per hour
• Saturday - $61.25 per hour
• Sunday - $78.75 per hour

Duties

• Assistance with personal care
• Assistance with bowel therapy (administering enema and digital stimulation)
• Assistance with domestic tasks
• Manual handling such as hoisting and transfers
• Administering medication
• Transporting and accompanying with community access + health and rehab appointments
• Assist with domestic animals
• Assistance required for medically perscribed marijuana use

Skills and experiences

• Australian Driver Licence
• Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged care
• Current National Police Clearance within 12 months
• Current Blue Card
• Current Yellow Card
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• NDIS Support Effective Communication Module
• Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
• Administer medication
