The Role:
UHC are seeking to engage a Disability Support Worker to partner with a male participant based in Greenslopes, QLD 4120. Our Participant sustained a traumatic brain injury due to an accident that happened at work. His native language is Spanish and so he would like to engage with the support workers who could speak Spanish.

The role is commencing immediately. Assistance is required in the day (between 7:00-12:00) Monday to Friday

The key responsibilities in this role are:

• Community access and transportation.
• Capacity building and companionship
• Supervision and prompting for tasks.

The hourly rate of pay for this role is:

• Day shift: $42.50 per hour
• Travel Allowance: $0.92 per km (applies for medical related purposes)

Skills & Experiences:

• Australian Driver Licence
• Spanish speakers will be highly regarded.
• Certificate III in Individual Support
• Current Police Clearance
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Current Blue Card
• Current NDIS Worker Screening
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• NDIS Support Effective Communication Module
• Third Party Compulsory Insurance
• Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
