Disability Support Worker - Bostobrick

About the Company:

Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

The Role:
We are currently looking for Disability Support Workers to partner with our Male participant located in Bostobrick, NSW. Our participant has a Traumatic Brain Injury as well as a Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) and requires assistance with all aspects of daily life.

This role is a casual role with set ongoing shifts each week.

Shifts Available:

  • Wednesday 1000-1900
  • Friday 1000-1900
  • Saturday 0830-1430


Pay Rates:

  • Day - $40.00 per hour
  • Afternoon - $44.00 per hour
  • Saturday - $56.00 per hour
  • Sunday - $72.00 per hour


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assistance with Bowel Therapy
  • Assistance with Personal Care
  • Monitoring and Completing Skin Checks
  • Assistance with Health & Rehab exercises
  • Assistance with Domestic tasks including Cleaning & Meal Preparation
  • Community Access


Skills & Experiences:

  • Reliable, Proactive, and Positive Attitude
  • Experience with Challenging Behaviours
  • Experience with implementing a Behaviour Support Plan
  • NDIS Supporting Effective Communication Module
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current National Police Clearance (Within 12 months of issue)
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Full Australian Driver Licence
  • Car Insurance
  • Current WWCC
