Disability Support Worker - Manilla

Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specializing in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

The Role:

We are currently looking for an experienced Disability Support Workers to partner with a 20-year-old male participant based in Manilla, NSW. Our participant has sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and has lost lower limb & partial upper limb movement.

This role will be on a casual on-going basis with morning shifts and afternoon shifts available, Monday to Sunday with extensive paid training provided. Hours include:

Morning shifts - (10:30am - 2:00pm)

Afternoon shift - (4:00pm - 6:00pm)


Pay Rates:


  • Day - $38.75 per hour
  • Afternoon - $42.63 per hour
  • Saturday - $54.25 per hour
  • Sunday - $69.75 per hour


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assistance with domestic tasks
  • PEG feeding (Preferred but not essential)
  • Community access
  • Assistance with toileting (changing of continence aids)
  • Assistance with Health & Rehab exercises
  • Manual Handling
  • Assistance with personal care
  • Medication Administration
  • Managing Skin Integrity


Skills & Experiences:

  • Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
  • NDIS Effective Communication Module
  • Current National Police Clearance
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module
  • Medical Administration Training Certificate
  • Current NDIS Screening check
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Australian Driver License
  • Current Working with Childrens Check
