The Role:
We are currenting hiring for compassionate and dedicated Enrolled Nurses with experience supporting individuals with high care mental health needs.
You will be working with a 22-year-old female participant diagnosed with Underlying Autism/ADHD, Functional Neurological Disorder, and PTSD. She requires consistent and trauma-informed care delivered by a team of calm, empathetic, and confident professionals, experienced in supporting individuals with complex mental health needs. Support is delivered with a 2:1 staffing ratio, and you will work closely with a team to promote stability, safety, and long-term recovery.
Shifts Available:
Mon, Tues, Sat 10:00am - 6:00pm
Fri & Sun 6:00am - 10:00am & 10:00am - 6:00pm
Thurs & Sat 6:00pm -10:00pm & 10:00pm - 6:00am (Active & Passive Overnight)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with personal care and daily living tasks
- Administering medications safely and in line with care plans
- Supporting behavioural management and emotional regulation strategies
- Implementing therapeutic approaches based on clinical recommendations
- Facilitating community access, social engagement, and transport to appointments
- Monitoring mental and physical wellbeing, escalating concerns as appropriate
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic and consistent support
- Successful candidates will receive a thorough handover and orientation before commencing shifts. Start dates and rosters can be tailored to suit your availability.
Pay Rates:
- Day shift $41.25 per hour
- Afternoon shift $45.37 per hour
- Night Shift $46.20
- Saturday shift $61.87 per hour
- Sunday shift $72.18 per hour
- $0.99 travel allowance per km (applies only when travelling with participant to and from appointments.
Skills & Experiences:
- Diploma of Nursing (completed in Australia)
- AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
- Current National Police Clearance
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (we can help you obtain one if you do not hold one)
- Have current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Australian Driver Licence
- Have excellent communication skills and de-escalation skills
- Experience working with participants with high mental health needs
