Food & Beverage Supervisor
The Opportunity:
Frontline are currently seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our client's team on a fulltime basis based at La-Trobe Bundoora Campus.

- You will be working for a premier employer in the dynamic role of supervising their Bundoora Campus across multiple site event spaces, student accommodation meals in their Glen Dining Hall and external clients wanting to hold functions on site.

Duties:
- Manage Breakfast and Lunch Service for our accommodation students Monday to Friday. Manage upcoming events to ensure each event is successful from planning, setup & execution.
- Collaborate with the Kitchen, Sales and Event Planning teams to ensure all orders are accurate and updated with any additional requirements and minimise wastage.
- Work closely with the group staffing coordinator to confirm staff requirements are in place for each event.
- Support the kitchen team by providing all necessary event information on time.
- Engage with key venue stakeholders to develop and drive sales and event strategies.
- Complete all necessary administrative tasks required.
To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate the following:
- Customer focussed to ensure delivery of an exceptional culinary experience.
- Passionate about all aspects of hospitality.
- Experience leading a team and managing functions.
- Experience in equipment hire and the operational planning requirements for a catering business.
- People person who can collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, executing their vision and offer tailor-made operational and logistics advice.
- Motivated and proactive, with the ability to drive the underlying operational requirements of events at La Trobe University (Bundoora)
- Ability us use Microsoft products including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint to complete proposals for inbound event queries.
Qualification requirements:
- Hospitality Industry Qualifications
- Responsible service of Alcohol certificates
- Food Safety Certificates
- Working with Children check.
