General Hand

The Role

FHR currently have multiple opportunities for experienced Warehouse Operators at the Port of Brisbane for our client who specialises in providing a range of Logistics services in supply chain management.

Due to securing a large international contract, we are currently recruiting Forklift and non-Forklift workers for long term stable employment.

Benefits:

• Non-Forklift - $32 per hour
• Forklift - $35 per hour
• Monday to Friday, 7am-3:30pm
• Permanent opportunity after 400 hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick orders and load containers with a high degree of accuracy and care
• Assist with inventory stock takes and adjustments
• Receive deliveries and ensure orders are accurate
• Support the Warehouse Coordinator in various warehouse duties as required
• Use of in-house management system to input data

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Forklift ticket highly advantageous with recent Forklift experience
• Operate various MHE (Manual Handling Equipment)
• Be physically fit for manual handling (approx. 15kgs)
• Experience with SAP system or similar
• Must have your own transport to get to and from work as there is no access to public transport
