SA GTO Branch Manager

The Role

FHR currently have an exciting opportunity for a South Australian Branch Manager - GTO Division to join our internal Group Training team, with a strong history in the Electrical, Engineering & Plumbing fields. You will be leading the Adelaide operation whilst working closely and being supported by our national team.

This opportunity is responsible for growing the SA market through new business development whilst also leading field operations and recruitment.

This is a Full-Time role based out of our Adelaide office near Adelaide Airport, reporting into the National Apprenticeship Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • GTO growth within the SA market
  • Apprentice mentoring - helping to assist with all aspects of their employment
  • Assisting recruiting, interviewing and hiring
  • Performance management of apprentices
  • Hosting and participating of events and expo's
  • Making strong relationships with host employers
  • Ensuring all relevant safety policies and procedures are being carried out by hosts, apprentices and trades
  • Understanding commercial aspects of the business

Skills & Experience

  • Leadership, entrepreneurial and mentoring skills
  • Either experience in trades or apprentices or 5+ years in relevant field
  • Ability to work across varying stakeholders on the go
  • Effective planning, organisational & workload prioritisation skills
  • Strong safety focus and commitment to WHS laws
  • Experience within varying industry sectors, electrical, engineering and plumbing preferred
  • Comfortable with wage rates, allowances and industrial instruments/awards
  • Ability to work autonomously whilst being able to work within a collaborative team environment
