Assembler / Factory Hand / Production Worker (Windows & Doors)

The Role

FHR currently have multiple opportunities for an experienced Assembler / Factory Hand / Production Worker to join our client that specialises in the Windows & Doors industry. This opportunity is located in Ormeau on the Gold Coast and we have immediate starts available for the candidates who're successful in their application for these positions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assembling sliding door systems to specification
• Cutting and preparing aluminium components for production
• Operating hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Installing and fitting glass into window and door frames (glazing)
• Handling and relocating products and materials throughout the factory
• Carrying out general factory, manufacturing, and production duties as required

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing environments
• Confident using hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Willing to undergo and pass a drug and alcohol screening
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and following company procedures
• Positive attitude with a proactive approach to work
• Dependable, punctual, and consistent in attendance and performance
• Ability to provide two recent, contactable work referees to confirm employment history
