Child Care Workers Required - Casual & On-Call
- Location: Mitcham
- Hours Monday to Friday 7.15am - 6.15am
- Cert III $41.30 per hour casual rate
- Diploma $46.25 per hour casual rate
We are currently seeking a reliable, caring and flexible Child Care Workers to join our client in Mitchem on a casual and on-call basis.
About the Role
This position requires someone who is passionate about working with children and able to provide a safe, nurturing and engaging environment. Flexibility and availability are essential, as shifts may be offered at short notice.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and care for children in a safe and supportive environment
- Assist with daily routines and activities
- Encourage learning and development through play
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the center
- Work collaboratively with staff and families
Requirements
- Copy of Cert III Early Childhood Education and Care
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
- Clear Working with Children Check
- First Aid/CPR certification Level 2
- Copy of Anaphylaxis and Auto immune device training (if separate from First Aid)
- Police check (within 6 months)
- Child protection training evidence
- Food handler certificate
- Experience working in childcare or a similar role preferred
- Must be reliable, punctual and flexible
- Available Monday to Friday between 7:15am and 6:15pm
- Must be available for casual and on-call shifts
