Early Childhood Educator Centre Chef- Casual ongoing

• Position: Experienced Childcare Educator Centre Chef
• Location: Mitcham
• Immediate Start
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 3:00pm
• Pay rate $44 per hour

FHR is currently seeking a reliable experienced Early Childhood Educator Centre Chef to join our client in Mitcham on a casual ongoing role.

About the Role

This position requires someone who is passionate about working with children and able to provide a safe, nurturing and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare healthy, nutritious meals for children aged 6mths - 5yrs.
• Plan and deliver cooking experiences with the children as part of the curriculum.
• Update and plan menus quarterly (seasonal menu).
• Order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director.
• Ensure Safe and Hygienic Handling and preparation of food and drinks.
• Work as part of a team, to create a safe and caring environment for Children.

Requirements

• Copy of Certificate III in Commercial Cookery

• Clear Working with Children Check

• First Aid/CPR certification Level 2

• Copy of Anaphylaxis and Auto immune device training (if separate from First Aid)

• Police check (within 6 months)

• National Safety & Child protection training evidence

• Food handling certificate

• Experience working in childcare or a similar role preferred

• Must be reliable, punctual and flexible

• Available Monday to Friday 8:00am - 3:00pm

• Must be available for casual ongoing role
