Machine Operators – Printing & Packaging

Frontline Human Resources (FHR) is recruiting experienced Machine Operators to join our team at the Orchard Hills facility.

We are seeking candidates with hands-on experience setting up, operating and troubleshooting machinery within cardboard, corrugated or folding carton packaging environments.

Relevant machinery experience

Experience operating one or more of the following will be highly regarded:

• Converting: Cutting, folding, gluing and finishing equipment.

• Corrugating: Single-faced corrugating equipment, including Asitrade.

• Die cutting: Bobst or Eterna machinery.

• Folder gluing: Jagenberg, Bahmuller or Brausse machinery.

• Printing: Flexographic printing and associated equipment.

• Packaging machinery: Clamshell, box erecting, window facing or laminating machines.

Candidates with experience on similar machinery are also encouraged to apply. Please clearly identify the equipment you have operated in your application.

About the role

Depending on your experience and assigned production area, your responsibilities may include:

• Setting up machinery, completing changeovers and adjusting settings to meet job specifications.

• Operating converting, corrugating or packaging equipment safely and efficiently.

• Monitoring material feeding, alignment, cutting, folding, gluing or lamination quality.

• Troubleshooting misfeeds, jams, alignment issues and other production faults.

• Inspecting finished products and completing production records.

• Performing routine cleaning, equipment inspections and basic machine maintenance.

• Working with production and maintenance teams to minimise downtime.

About you

To be considered, you will bring:

• Relevant experience operating converting, corrugating, printing or packaging machinery.

• Practical skills in machine setup, adjustments and changeovers.

• The ability to identify machinery faults and resolve operational issues.

• Experience following job specifications and conducting quality checks.

• A strong commitment to safe work procedures, machine guarding and housekeeping.

• Reliability, attention to detail and the ability to work well within a production team.

A valid LF Forklift Licence will be highly regarded.

Shift times

Day shift: $41.74 per hour (casual rate)
Monday-Thursday: 6:00am-2:30pm
Friday: 6:00am-12:00pm

Afternoon shift: $48.415 per hour (casual rate)
Monday-Thursday: 2:00pm-10:30pm
Friday: 12:00pm-6:00pm
