Welder

Our client specializes in providing support to the mechanical services industry in commercial construction projects. We offer a range of services, including offsite steel manufacturing capabilities, expertise in metal work, piping systems, stainless services, prefabrication, and onsite support.

Frontline are currently seeking for experienced Boilermaker-Welder-Fabricator based in Dandenong & Mordialloc.

What's on offer?  

• Casual ongoing position
• Day Shift - Monday to Thursday 6am - 2.30pm | Friday 6am - 12pm | possible overtime
• On site car parking  
• Great hourly rates - TA or non-Qualified $52p/h | Qualified $60p/h
• Weekly pay

Your daily duties will consist of:  

• Preparing of items using power or hand tools ready for assembly
• Review drawings and specifications to determine job requirements
• Select and prepare the correct materials for cutting and fabrication processes.
• Perform fabrication work, including MIG and TIG welding, to required quality standards.
• Carry out manual handling tasks in a safe and efficient manner.

To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate the following:  

• Minimum 2yrs+ Boilermaker/Welder/Sheetmetal Worker/Fabricator (or equivalent)
• Proficient in MIG & TIG welding
• Preferably have stainless steel & pipe welding experience
• Training provided for right candidates
• Must be an Australian citizen/permanent resident
• Ability to work within a team and autonomously
• Reliable & punctual
