Frontline HR is currently seeking experienced Loader Operators and Excavator Operators to join a leading South Australian waste management and resource recovery company. Our client specialises in recycling, processing, and delivering sustainable waste solutions across commercial and industrial sectors.
This is a hands-on role suited to reliable operators who enjoy working outdoors and operating heavy machinery in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role
As a Loader or Excavator Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating Front End Loaders and Excavators across site operations
- Loading trucks, trailers, and processing equipment
- Material handling, stockpile management, and site clean-up
- Assisting with recycling and waste processing activities
- Conducting daily pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance
- Completing production and operational documentation
- Working collaboratively with the operations team to achieve daily production targets
- Maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all WHS policies and procedures
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience operating Front End Loaders and/or Excavators
- Current Loader and/or Excavator tickets (essential)
- Experience within waste management, recycling, quarrying, civil construction, or a similar industry (highly regarded)
- A strong work ethic with a reliable and positive attitude
- The ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- A current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
- The ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
