One of our recent initiatives, led by Katrina Sayce (Senior Business Consultant), has been upgrading our onboarding process. As a Group Training Organisation, our onboarding is a major part of welcoming apprentices to our business. It gives us a chance to connect with them, team-build, and allows them the opportunity to chat with their fellow apprentices.

Melbourne, Australia – October 11, 2024 – Tonight, the 2024 Apprentice Awards, hosted at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground, will bring together over 100 apprentices, employers, and industry leaders to celebrate the achievements of Australia’s future workforce.

FHR Apprentices’ Contribution to the Metro Tunnel Project

FHR had the opportunity to provide over 20 electrical apprentices to light up the Metro Tunnel project for future generations. As a result, two of our 4th year apprentices were invited to meet the Minister for Training and Skills, the Hon. Gayle Tierney, at the AEN conference. Along with the FHR team, Chelsea Porter and Alyssa Preer had the opportunity to share their stories of becoming an apprentice.
